New Product, “Paper-made container for Yamato starch paste refill” will launch on September 15, 2020.
“Paper-made container for Yamato starch paste refill” is an eco-friendly product. Reduced plastic used for a container by about 84% compared to conventional Yamato starch paste refill 2KG in a plastic bucket.
Yamato has produced “ECOMMU PRODUCT” aiming for coexistence between the earth and living things and strives to develop less impact designs and materials on the environment as one of our most important themes.
Recently, efforts to address the SDGs have been focused on the problems of global warming and ocean pollution, and the global movement to minimize waste plastic and plastics has been increasing.
In order to solve these social issues, Yamato has started to deal with paper containers. Moreover, we have eliminated the plastic handles and spatulas from our conventional products (Yamato starch paste refill 2KG) in order to reduce the amount of waste plastic. Also, due to the nature of the glue product, the cap and some of the other parts of the product are made of plastic to maintain airtightness and ensure the stability of the product.
Yamato Starch Paste is one of the long-selling Yamato products since 1899 and used in kindergartens and schools as well as for handicrafts for all ages.
